Francis E. Baker is the instigator of the events written about in this site.

His true history is unclear — although it is true that he was born outside New York City just a little while ago, managed to convince an archaic school in Boston to let him in and ended up in Hartford when private equity group couldn’t find anyone else to run a little factory they owned. And the company did go public — as a “space stock” which in itself is fairly amazing.

The rest is for you to enjoy. We’ve set this up to see where it goes and because our protagonist has decided to sail around Cape Horn in the Spring.

You can’t drive a car to Brazil, buy titanium in Russia and sail around Cape Horn without telling people about it.
